Bike & Build

People have found many ways to help Habitat for Humanity reach its mission of building and renovating houses. One trend lately seems to be riding bikes to raise money and awareness. A while back, the blog feature a group of brother who pedaled globally to raise money for their local Habitat. Now I want to introduce Bike & Build. Founded in 2002, Bike & Build ” benefits affordable housing and empowers young adults for a lifetime of service and civic engagement.”

Thier mission:

“Bike & Build is pedaling for affordable housing. Through fund-raising cycling trips, Bike & Build raises money for and awareness of affordable housing efforts. Our events act as a catalyst to build homes, foster the spirit of service, and empower young adults… mile by mile, house by house.”
